So another day.....

Yesterday started out pretty good and then I went a bit crazy and got told off by Imyu. I am most contrite. I am.  It was a good talking to and he didn't even have to yell (well it was online...so....does that count?)

Anyway, the day improved. I went for my chiro appointment and felt a bit better. I didn't feel like something was stuck down my throat. The chiropractor was running late though and I had to wait about half an hour before I saw her. Then it was mad rush to home so I could park the car and bus into city to meet Neko and AK.

We had 5 dollar chicken burgers from Carnegies! It was good value for $5 dollars!!! with a side of chips and salad. We did some catching up and then we headed off to catch the bus. I stopped by Neko's to borrow some books and then we headed over to AK's to borrow more books! Heheh. I will be so busy this weekend!

I'm finally reading Dead Beat (Jim Butcher's Dresden Files). Its been sitting on shelf for a bit (since April, I think). I got it in Singapoe and haven't gotten round to reading it. So I started reading last night but ended falling a sleep (not before a brief session of wallowing and thinking about lycanthropy.)

Okay. end weird rant. I'm off to the movies tonight with Neko. My shoulders are hurting already and my head is killing me...BOO. Must be that meeting I just had.

VHS Tapes

Hi All,

I have VHS tapes that I want to get rid off. Before I put them in the bin, did anyone want the following tapes:

She's All That
13th Warrior
Robin Hood: Men in Tights
Crimson River
The Last Samurai
Batman of the Future - The Movie
Batman of the Future - Tech Wars

I also have a spare speaker set which I don't want. Its old but never used. If no one wants it, I'll be dumping them.

I have some DVDs I want to get rid off but I'll probably be selling those! Keep you posted!

Hmm,  its like the new 'IKEA' for me. I have this strange obsession with putting what I own into organised piles BUT, no matter what I do, my home still looks cluttered and messy!

WHY? WHY? WHY?

Its a rhetorical question.

Anyway, this is not so much a Ziggy & Bailey adventure story but more on me organising my shelves. I have open sheleves in my study with my stuff (usually neatly arranged). But the cats have found the shelves mighty interesting and as a result my stuff usually ends up on the floor because they are trying to squeeze themselves into a very small space. Funny. Sometimes.

So I got a few plastic drawers to keep my stuff in. I even neatly labelled the drawers so Imyu knew where to find stuff. I realised I'm becoming like my mother. Moving and repacking everything until no one remembers where it is -_-. So kudos to Nekomancy for the labeller.  It has been most useful.

Cat Blog?

Imyu mentioned a week or so ago that he wanted to post pictures of our lazy cats. I prodded but as usual, he got lazy and hasn't done any posting :P (like owner, like cats). I have repeatedly posted snippets, pictures of our beautiful boys here and on facebook but I think its time to put up a dedicated blog up for them (after approval from Imyu of course). That way he can post up his pictures and I can chronicle the adventures of ziggy and bailey on a separate blog without sounding too much like a crazy cat lady on my own. I was also most inspired by this blog on two cats - Arthur and Beowulf.

Oh hell, I am a crazy cat lady. (almost like the one on Simpsons but Sena has reassured me that at least she was a successful lawyer once) This wil also spare my friends from having me tell them poop stories that they REALLY didn't need to know about (Sorry AK!!!)

Anyway, I'll keep everyone posted on the blog.

In the meantime, more news: Ziggy has grown up. He can jump onto the kitchen countertop now. Nightmares ahead trying to keep him off.  Bailey, I'm sure will soon follow suit.

Hmm, watched Underworld - Rise of the Lycans on Friday. It was a pretty short film (less than one and a half hours) but it was heaps better than the 2nd movie (especially if you can ignore the blatant plotholes) and Rhonda Mitra did an admirable job of 'replacing' Kate Beckinsale as the lead female. The plotholes were blatant, the timeline made no sense in relation to the first and second movie!

I guess I'm predisposed to like this film because out of all the characters in Underworld, Lucian was always my favourite and it seems I may have started a love affair with Michael Sheen. Hah. In my opinion, he did an admirable job and I'm still amazed at his versatility. I think it was his performance (especially compared to Scott Speedman) that had me sold on Lucian as a character in the first movie. I was pretty upset when he died.

Oh, Bill Nighy was good too! He always has this flair about him that is great to watch. But that aside, it was entertaining but if you have a more discriminating plalate than me, you may not enjoy it as much. Haha. I think Imyu may have been cringing along the way. But at least we were in agreement that it was better than Underworld Evolution.

We also watched the Spirit. I did like the pretty stylized shots that Frank Miller served up but it was confusing. Imyu calls it a mess. I think I was a bit sleepy by the end of it.

Anyway, next on the list of things to watch - My Bloody Valentine 3D :P Hahaha. Jensen Ackles!
